Of course the first violin gets to play more interesting parts, and commands more attention. But as Bernstein goes on the explain, "Its hard to find someone who wants to play second violin and to do so with the same enthusiasm. But without the second violin, there is no harmony." 

Man looks at the outward appearances, but God looks at the heart. To God, its ok and great to be a second violinist. God looks at things in a different way. He's much more concerned with whats happening backstage. Keep serving and loving God. :)
